COMPETITION OUTLINE

The festival "Water for Life, Tubig at Buhay!", organized by the Embassy of France together with the Alliance Française de Manille, will feature several highlights open to the public and to professionals: exhibits, artistic performances, discussions and round tables, scientific conferences, documentaries and films screening.

This event aims to address the concept of water through the themes that constitute the uniqueness of the country or that have been identified as priorities for the development of the Philippines: Natural Hazards (rainy season,  flooding, floods, typhoons), Public health (sanitation, potable water, disease), Insularity (marine biodiversity and the impact of human activities), Uses of water (energy (geothermal /hydro), agriculture, aquaculture…).

The applicant has to submit a 40 seconds (max) teaser reflecting the theme of water.

The teaser will be used as a communication tool for the promotion of the festival.

Submission deadline is on NOVEMBER 9, 2011.
