Bibliography by Noell El Farol

The idea took off from Noell’s previous two man show that was entitled “Field notes: excerpt from my archeological excavation”. Bibliography are artworks inspired from  the books Noell have been reading as his resource material. From food recipes to religious artifacts, to geography and history, Noell make sure that he gives justice to this books by interpreting them into this timeless pieces that are on display from September 2 to 20, 2010 at the Art Informal.

 

“Bibliography is like indexes in the library in the form of art; Indexes of information or scholarly resources.” Cited Noell.

 

Materials of the artworks used in the exhibit, are glass, steel, pigments and silver plated brass. Art Informal is located in 277 Connecticut St., Greenhills East, Mandaluyong City, Philippines
