Eighteen artists with differing creative sensibilities were selected to present their recent works as a glimpse into each other’s artistic milieu. The exhibition serves as a portal, a view into individual frameworks through the varied array of paintings and sculpture that translat...e thoughts and experiences into abstract pieces, figurations, landscapes, whimsical illustrations and clever assemblages.

Ricky Ambagan, Max Balatbat, Grandier Bella, Jet Bernal, Xander Calceta, Florence Cinco, Thom Daquioag, Jasper de Leon, Jes Evangelista, Billy Francisco, Pete Jimenez, Josef Laureano, Cathy Lasam, Sam Penaso, Milmar Onal, Eman Servito, Elmer Torio and Valen Valerio participate in WINDOWS, as Makati Art Gallery showcases their works for the first time.

Makati Art Gallery (MAG), the latest independent venture to cater to distinctive tastes in contemporary art, is opening up a fresh new space as an innovative means of access for the art-going public and a dynamic venue for the latest creations of the most prolific Filipino artists of this generation.

WINDOWS will run from Oct. 2-Nov. 2, 2010. MAG is located at the ground floor of ESGC Bldg, 5117 Curie St. cor. Filmore St., Palanan, Makati City.
