Zanjoe Marudo was a model before he became part of the celebrity edition of Pinoy Big Brother. When he joined the reality show, people really noticed him because of his good looks and hunky physique. After the reality show, where he was hailed as the 4th placer, he was immediately part of an ABS-CBN sitcom and ASAP, where he later became one of the Coverboys.

Although a Star Cinema exclusive contract artist, he was allowed to star in a cinema One short film directed by Rico Ilarde with a working title “Altar”. His dream is to be able to reprise the role of Baby Ama. He would also like to play an OFW or a seaman.

On television, he will soon be seen in the show “Kokey” directed by Wenn Deremas. In Kokey, he plays a Kapampangan who goes to Manila to study to become a pilot. He plays the brother of Eugene Domingo and with Megan Young as his love interest. He will also be a regular in two more shows that air in the near future.

This tall, dark and handsome model turned actor hopes to be the leading man of Claudine Barretto, Judy Ann Santos or Angel Locsin. He also wishes to be directed by Olive Lamasan, Rory Quintos, Laurice Guillen, Joyce Bernal and Chito Rono.

Zanjoe celebrated his 25th birthday last July 23 with a simple dinner with his family. Ever since, he is not one to opt for lavish birthday celebrations. Almost a year ago, Zanjoe was welcomed by Star magic to its fold with a special presscon with the “kings”, namely, Piolo, Diet, John Lloyd and Sam. He is very thankful and is inspired even more to improve his craft.
