After a glamorous celebration on Philippine’s hottest showbiz oriented show, Showbiz Central and TV’s #1 Variety Program, SOP; the GMA Artist Center (GMAAC) is now ready and raring to introduce the newest, freshest, and brightest new faces of the GMAAC!  The GMAAC could not be any prouder to present the newest personalities that have joined their impressive roster of stars.  

The newest members of the Artist Center are a brilliant group of beautiful faces, talented and gifted, total star materials that only the Artist Center can discover.  Gracing magazine covers and starring in television commercials, the new babies of the Artist Center are precious jewels that were spotted—the new batch of artists are not products of the network’s talent contests.  They have been meticulously screened.  They have been carefully picked from a sea of countless hopefuls.  

The fine looking talents are mostly professional models, familiar faces who have appeared on print ads, TV commercials, and many fashion shows.  Aside from this, the AC’s new batch of talents is composed of prominent names that have been making noise in the entertainment industry.  They are set to undergo intensive workshops given by the entertainment industry’s top caliber facilitators and trainers. The artists will soon be seen in GMA programs and events.  

Gino Dela Peña is a 20 year old commercial model who weighs 150 lbs. and is 5 feet and 9 inches tall.  An interesting tidbit about Gino is that once upon a time he purchased P50,000.00 worth of Tricks Gel just to win a date with showbiz crush and two time FHM’s #1 most sexiest, Katrina Halili.  Victor Aliwalas is a true blue New Yorker who is trying his luck at show business here in Manila.  The 23 year old hunk has a knack for modeling and hosting.  Charming beauty, Samantha Gamboa who is only 18 years old is already 5’6 in height.  A professional model, Samantha has graced runways and magazine covers.  Apart from this, Samantha is also a gymnast and a talented dancer.  Lawrence Gutierrez is part of the Gutierrez clan famous for their years in show business.  He is also cousins with fellow Artist Center talents, Rye and Cristina Fariñas.  The young lad, a six footer at only 18 years old is a professional model.  Just like his cousin, Lawrence; Rye Fariñas is also a professional model.  The 20 year old cutie is the son of Governor Fariñas and Theresa Carlson.  Together with his sister, Cristina Fariñas, the siblings are dead set on conquering the world of show business.  Cristina, at 23, is a ramp model who tips the scale at 112lbs.  Cristina is interested in hosting and singing.  Ramp and commercial model, Lyka Feliciano is 5’7 in height and is a light 115lbs.  His name might be a tongue twister to many, but Einar Ingerbrigsten’s heart stopping smile just might straighten those tongues in a jiffy.  Famous for his McDonald’s commercial and Penshoppe endorsement, the 22 year old hottie is now a Kapuso.  Stephanie Henares is the daughter of Ms. Ida Henares and Mr. Ronnie Henares.  Her starbuilding parents’ stature might put pressure on the young lass, but Steph is ready to do it her way.  An upcoming VJ in QTV 11, the 19 year old De La Salle University student is a ramp model and has done commercials for Lactacyd and Cinderella.  At 5’7, Steph defies the stereotype—she happens to be a daring rock climber!  Another upcoming VJ for QTV 11 is Ms. Ysa Villar.  Ysa is the daughter of Crossover Radio Station’s owners, Louie and Chuchi Villar and is a student of the Ateneo De Manila University.  Pretty Ysa is only 18 and is fluent in speaking French.  A commercial model who enjoys singing and hosting; Ysa is part of Manila’s 5 Loveliest 2007.  Joining Ysa is fellow Manila’s 5 Loveliest, Schinina Juban.  Schinina is the daughter of Jun Juban who is involved in international movie productions.  Just 16 years old, Schinina is a ramp model who dances and acts well.  Not a newbie in front of the camera, Joseph Marco has done ads for Head & Shoulders, Jollibee, Downy, and Red Ribbon.  At only 18, Joseph is part of Cosmopolitan magazine’s Cosmomen: Cosmopolitan’s Centerfolds 2007.  Joseph is not the only Artist Center talent who is part of Cosmo’s 69 Hot Bachelors.  Rye Fariñas and Paolo Paraiso also made the list.  The Fariñas siblings aren’t the only siblings in the batch.  Twins, Bebs and KC Hollman are 17 years old and 5’4 in height.  They also both weigh 90lbs.!  Professional commercial models, the twins dream of making it big in showbiz.  Joy Velasco is any parent’s fantasy: Ms. Teen Model of the Universe, a civic leader, a model student, and boutique owner…Joy is even a print ad model!  The surprise is, Joy has achieved all these at only 17 years old.  

As mentioned in the extravagant Showbiz Central special weeks ago, newly signed GMA Artist Center talents are:  Nicole Dulalia, Iking Magundayao and Renz Valerio, child stars who have gained popularity through their exposure in GMA shows; talented singer, Jon Joven; sexy actress and host, Jen Rosendahl; professional print ad and ramp model, Paolo Paraiso.  Noted producer, singer, and stage actress, Ayen Laurel is also now part of the Artist Center.  A sought after commercial voice talent, Ayen was named Outstanding Performer of the Year for Music Video in the 16th Awit Awards.   Ms. Laurel was also nominated as “Best New Favorite Artist” by MTV Pilipinas.  Another addition to the GMA Artist Center pool of talents is Marvin Agustin.  Award winning performer and MTV director, the versatile actor is now an AIM graduate and entrepreneur, owning several restaurants in the metro.
