Mike Tan once considered that being a celebrity is just an impossible dream. He never thought that he could be one of today’s showbiz personalities. But Mike believed in himself and joined the second batch of today’s most prominent reality search for young artists, Starstruck. With the same dream of being an infamous star, and being able to financially help his family, he gave his best, and true enough, Mike became worthy to become the Ultimate Male Survivor of the show’s second season.

Mike has that boy-next-door look and a bit serious aura. He was a former ramp model, and not surprisingly, he was the most popular “hottie” in school. He has lived to be that guy whom you see in teen movies – The Prom King, Varsity jock, and of course, the ladies’ eye candy. He may be all these things, but really, he is more hyperactive, and “makulit” than he seems, and most importantly he has the perseverance and heart to achieve his goals and dreams. One of which is being able to win an acting award someday.

Mike has been able to buy his own car and a house for that matter. Another story about Mike that is truly inspiring is that with his hard work and determination, he was able to compensate the hospital when his mother was in the fight for cancer.  

Mike has appeared in GMA 7 TV Programs such as Now & Forever, SIS, Eat Bulaga, Dadedidodu, Nuts Entertainment, Wag Kukurap, Love2Love, Magpakailanman, Maynila, Mel & Joey, Mobile Kusina, My Guardian Abby, Balikbayan, Hpkus Pokus, Baywalk, Darna, Mahiwagang Baul, Wish Ko Lang, Extra Challenge, Startalk, S-Files, All Star K!, and SOP Gigsters

Currently, Mike is having road tours in the country interactively endorsing products of Splash Corporation. Fans should also watch out for the upcoming TV series in GMA 7, “Lovepow.” Mike stars as “Dennis” who falls in love with his bestfriend “Val” played by Valerie Concepcion. With Rainier Castillo and Felix Roco as his “kabarkadas,” Lovepow will surely be a “kilig-feel-good” TV show.
