From the producers of the highly-acclaimed Rajo Red: A Fashion Documentary and the 2009 New York Festivals World Gold Medalist, Inno Sotto: A Special Fashion Documentary come another world-class feature, The Pursuit of Style: A Young Designers Special.

This TV Special from Q Channel 27 is a look at young Philippine fashion designers and how they push the industry forward.

Following the stories of the eight young designers competing in MEGA Magazine’s Young Designers’ Competition (8th Edition), the documentary will highlight the young designers’ struggles and triumphs as they produce a cohesive 5-piece collection that best represents their own interpretation of Philippine fashion in this age of cultural transformation. The show will give a detailed look on each designer’s artistic journey and hard work, culminating in a fashion gala and the announcement of the grand winner.

The documentary will also present the varying perspectives of our country’s top designers, fashion editors and followers on the current state of the local fashion industry and their vision for Philippine fashion in the years to come.

The Young Designers Documentary Special is hosted by model Joey Mead and promises to be another must-see viewing experience for everyone who loves fashion and for those who wish to learn more about it!  Catch it on April 25 at 8:55pm and April 26 at 9:10pm only on Q Channel 27.
