GMA Network welcomed the return of world boxing champion and Kapuso Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao with a grand victory party last Friday, November 20 at the SM Mall of Asia.

The Kapuso Network celebrated the historic triumph of the seven-time world boxing champion via a special show aired live on GMA and which featured some of the biggest Kapuso stars.

In the party hosted by GMA’s Carla Abellana and Arnel Ignacio, Pacman serenaded the crowd with his hit songs. Performing artists Jay Durias, Wency Cornejo, Luke Mijares, Kris Lawrence, Jay R, Jan Nieto, Arnel Pineda, and Kyla provided song numbers as well.

SOP’s Chynna Ortaleza, Ryza Cenon, Mico Aytona, Edgar Allan, and Ranier Castillo performed a hip dance number, while Rich Asuncion, Mocha, and Krissa Mae did a sizzling, hot dance number. Pacman as well performed with the MP Band.

Manny was joined by wife Jinkee, his kids, and mom Dionisia. Also present in the event were GMA EVP and Chief Operating Officer Gilberto R. Duavit, Jr., GMA Chief Financial Officer and SVP for Corporate Services Group Felipe S. Yalong, GMA SVP for Entertainment TV Group Wilma V. Galvante, GMA AVP for Drama Lilybeth Rasonable, GMA AVP for Musical, Magazine, Variety, and Specials Darling de Jesus, GMA AVP for Alternative Productions Gigi Santiago-Lara, GMA Senior Program Managers Redgie Acuña-Magno, Bang Arespacochaga, and Ruth Mariñas.

“I thank God for all the blessings that He has given me. This victory is not only for myself and my family, but for all the Filipinos. Maraming salamat sa GMA Network at sa lahat ng Kapuso nating sumuporta at nagdasal para sa aking panalo,” Pacman said in gratitude.

Pacquiao currently has two top-rating shows with GMA Network - Pinoy Records and Show Me Da Manny.
