Eastwood will soon be serenaded by the Prince of Pop Erik Santos as he dominates the stage with the hits of the renowned American songwriter and pianist Jim Brickman in his new album entitled ERIK SANTOS: THE JIM BRICKMAN SONGBOOK on July 24.

Through Star Records, the multi-platinum artist is now in line with the distinguished singers of the country like Lea Salonga, Martin Nievera, Pops Fernandez, Sharon Cuneta, Ariel Rivera, Regine Velasquez, Agot Isidro and The Company who have previously collaborated with the well-known composer.

The Jim Brickman Songbook consists of ten delightfully crafted love ballads from the piano virtuoso. Seven of which are past hits of Jim (By Heart; Valentine; Where’s The Good In Goodbye; Love Of My Life; Destiny; The Gift and Your Love) while the three songs were wrote specifically for Erik Santos (It’s A Sin To Break A Heart; If I Just Believe and My Love Is Here as the carrier single). Erik has flown to the United States to record Valentine (which was Jim's biggest hit in the Philippines), If I Just believe and My Love Is Here. The original piano score sheets of some of the songs are also included in the album.

“Excited at the same time happy to have been given a chance to work with Jim, Star (Records) has been planning for this collaboration for a long time so I am so honoured to be chosen by them” the Price of Pop said as he feels so grateful and delighted for his new project.

Just like his other hit songs like Your Love, This Is The Moment, I Believe I can Fly and I’ll Never Go, this new album from the Best Balladeer of his generation is expected to dominate hit charts and airwaves as he conquers the stage with his guesting and live performances.

The album will also be released in Asian countries namely, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan and Hongkong on August 07, 2009. Erik will not just take over Asia but also Glendale in the United States soon.
