Gerald Anderson has always idolized Michael Jordan and once dreamt of becoming a professional basketball player.  That dream will have to be put aside for the meantime because showbiz has opened its doors to Gerald.  He entered the Pinoy Big Brother house during its Teen Edition and at that point, everyone knew that he was going to be a star!  

In PBB, he met his present loveteam Kim Chiu.  After the reality show, Gerald and Kim or more known as Kimerald was seen on Love Spell and the Star Cinema movie First Day High.  Now, Kimerald are regulars in Aalog-alog and starring in their very first teleserye Sana Maulit Muli.  They will also start shooting a movie under Star Cinema this April.  Together, they are also endorsers of Bench, Jollibee and Glamlab fragrances.  Just as Kim has her own endorsements, Gerald also has Calayan Surgicentre, Converse and Sir George by Mary Pauline Salon.  

Before PBB, Gerald was already dancing professionally so it is no surprise that he was given by Universal Records his own dance album, Gerald’s Dance Picks. 

At such a young age and for someone who has been in showbusiness for less than a year, he has established himself as one of the country’s more bankable stars and product endorser.   With the right attitude and passion for his craft, Gerald will surely be in the business for a long time.

Welcome home Geoff!

When he became an artist of ABS-CBN, he was one of the main leads of the teleserye Hiram.   This was followed by “Ikaw ang Lahat Sa Akin” and will soon be seen in “Hiram na Mukha” and the much-awaited “Rounin”.  He was also in the two blockbuster movies from Star Cinema namely “Becuz of U” and “First Day High”. He did hosting jobs for ASAP Fanatic with Luis Manzano and John Prats. He is also one of the VJs of Studio 23’s MYX and is in ASAP ’07.

Everyone knows that Geoff is part of a showbiz family.  Being the son of Gina Alajar and Michael de Mesa, acting is really in his blood.  Showbiz has been part of his childhood as he used to tag along during shootings/tapings.  It is no surprise that he eventually developed his interest in acting and was cast in television shows in another network.  However, Geoff was really noticed when he starred in his very first commercial for Globe.  He is still a Globe endorser but add to the list Human, No Curfew and Calayan Surgicentre.

In terms of his career, Geoff has many dreams.  He hopes to be cast in more dramatic and serious roles in the future.   Of course, he would want an acting award but at this point, a nomination is a great honor already.  His greatest dream is to be able to work with his parents in a TV series or movie.

We can see that he will be in showbiz for a long time as he is passionate with his craft and has this thirst to learn and improve his skills.  ABS-CBN Star Magic is truly proud to have Geoff in its stable of artists and only wishes him the best in all his endeavors.
