Teodorico Badua, Also known as Ted, is a 67 year old native of La Union who took up diesel mechanic in a vocational school, saw a problem with used oils that flows thru our rivers and clogs our drainage systems.

He was able to work in a power plant in Saudi Arabia for 20 years, and now that he is retired, he focuses himself to finding a solution for the problem that had been bothering us for years, what will we do with all these used waste oil?

By 2001, he started to work on this project. He wanted to convert the used engine oil, used cooking oil and used fuel that is used to wash spare parts to help save fuel and protect the environment.

Sketching, testing and numerous trials have been done to perfect this invention. He even tried it on his own car.

By July 21, 2008, he was able to get the patent for his “Fuel Energy saving device” by simply recycling engine oil and other combustible liquid waste into fuel thru heating process.
