Museo Pambata, a children's interactive museum

Museo PambataThe Museo Pambata is the first of its kind in the Philippines. A place where children can have fun and learn at the same time; In Museo Pambata, children can use their total senses and learn various concepts at their own pace. It excites the minds of the young, inspires them to learn more, and most importantly revitalizes what child learning should be – fun and exciting! And with this in mind, the Museo Pambata continues to develop and create various activities that will stir up the mind and interest of its visitors.

Just this January, Museo Pambata launched a new exhibit room, titled "I Love My Planet Earth".  A 380 square-meter “playground” that allows children to explore natural and physical phenomena through play. The room tackles climate change and global warming by using interactive exhibits that appeal to children's natural curiosities and help them realize the many things they can do to make a difference. The largest among Museo Pambata's theme rooms, it echoes the need for Filipinos to contribute and actively participate in the collective effort to tackle this environmental problem.

Other theme rooms in Museo Pabata are Kalikasan (Environment), Maynila Noon (Old Manila), Bata sa Mundo (Children in the Gobal Village, Tuklas! (Science Through Discovery, Paglaki Ko (Career Options), Craft Room, Pamilihang Bayan (Marketplace), Katawan ko (Body Works), and Karapatan Hall (a Hall dedicated to the Rights of the child where various arts and cultural activities for children are held).

Museo Pambata is nestled in the heart of Manila. It is at the former Elks Club Building on Roxas Boulevard corner South Drive, Manila.
